Seated Acupressure is based on a traditional Japanese massage technique called “anma" which translates to “press and rub”. It’s a simple, relaxing therapy that helps to reduce muscle tension and releases blocked energy by applying pressure to key points in the head, neck, shoulders and lower spine.

Remaining fully clothed you’ll be seated on an ergonomic massage chair whilst I use my hands, fingers, thumbs, and elbows to apply pressure to over 60 pressure points. This relaxes muscles, increases blood circulation, stimulates nerve responses and helps to restore physical and emotional wellbeing.

A 30 minute treatment has been likened to a full body massage due to the pressure points that are worked and the wonderful sense of wellbeing you are left with.

Seated Acupressure can be enjoyed by anyone in the course of their day to day life. Treatments are suitable for desk or manual workers and can be incorporated and prove beneficial to employees receiving on-sie or private counselling. My ergonomic massage chair is portable so I can come and visit you at home or in the workplace. I’ve worked with a several companies who have offered this treatment to employees as part of health and wellbeing workplace schemes.
